Namine
Namine Olivia Eiche was born on July 15, 2008 with a double-inlet left ventricle heart defect; Pierre Robin sequence, a condition that resulted in a regressed jaw and a partial (U-shaped) cleft palate; caudal regression syndrome (also known as sacral agenesis), which damages the growth of the tailbone and legs, also giving her clubfoot; and scoliosis.

I don’t know what the women’s bathroom was like, but the men’s at this particular restaurant was not accessible.

Attending a second school
Namine is attending a new school! She’s also still attending the RVA.

Tooth extraction recovery, again
Namine is feeling much better after having her teeth pulled, so we spent the day taking down the Christmas decorations.

Namine had the remaining two teeth pulled so she can get braces.

Back to basketball
Namine hasn’t been to basketball practice in a while, due in part to holiday craziness and in part to medical things like getting her teeth pulled. She was happy to return.
