Strength exercises in basketball

Namine’s coaches have her working on arm strength.

Practice started off with the kids wheeling forwards and backwards across the court, only facing a single direction the entire time.

The kids also took turns pulling each other across the court, but not Namine. She pulled her coach going both ways with no rests. Pulling an adult, she can now cross the gym in ten seconds.

And of course, no basketball practice is complete without a scrimmage. Namine is not strong enough yet to be able to throw the ball into the basket, so she focuses on support. She gets the ball to players who can, and does her best to block her opponents.
