Inaccessible bathroom

I don’t know what the women’s bathroom was like, but the men’s at this particular restaurant was not accessible.

Inside the bathroom, there were two stalls. The first was far too skinny to get a wheelchair into, so it obviously wasn’t meant to be the accessible one. The second stall was wider, but there wasn’t even room for a wheelchair next to the toilet.

We’ve written before on the lack of places’ accessibility. There is a trending hashtag on Twitter, #ChangingPlaces, which highlights the need for accessible toilets and changing areas. Add this one to the pile, because slapping a blue wheelchair sticker on a door does not an accessible bathroom make.
