Even more surgery
Namine’s final skin graft for her left foot has been scheduled for the third of next month. After that, both feet can be casted, and, God willing, only three or four months remain before she can resume walking, standing, climbing, and getting into all manner of shenanigans once more.

Finally home
Namine was discharged last night – huzzah! Jessica’s sister Chyral helped us bring all the stuff home from the hospital. Good thing, too, because we would have been hard pressed to fit it all into our little car.

One step closer to home
Time stands still in the hospital. But at the same time, the days rush by in a blur. The days go by; every day seems the same, but every day Namine regains a little more strength, a little more energy, a little more of herself. Every day passes, and it passes slowly, but every day…

At last, relief
Namine is out of surgery. She will be brought back up to the ICU soon, and she is doing well. The artery in her left foot has been grafted once more and is profusing nicely, and there has been no tissue loss.

To be as blunt and straightforward as possible: Namine is in danger of losing her left foot. She is in surgery now, and the doctors are doing all they can to ensure its safety.

Upcoming surgery
Namine’s foot surgery is scheduled for May 22. We pray that it won’t be put off any longer; Namine’s feet are now in so much pain that she’s no longer walking in therapy.

Foot surgery canceled
Title says it all, guys. Namine’s orthopedic doctor is sick, so Tuesday’s surgery has been canceled until further notice. We’ll probably reschedule it tomorrow or the day after.
