As if we don’t have enough on our minds, right? One of the things we’re apprehensive about – with Namine’s foot surgery approaching on Tuesday – is the setback. The setback of not being able to walk, of having the extra weight (not to mention the pain, although silly me, I just did) of the casts to deal with.
It helps to keep in mind that Namine has been here before. Yes, she’s suffered setbacks; yet she has persevered, and more. Before her first foot surgery, she was very close to being able to roll over. The casts, then, did indeed set her back, but she got there eventually.
Namine is much stronger now, both physically and mentally. I know she’ll be better for having had the surgery, and she will recover from this, too.
