We were invited to the annual holiday party for Variety, the children’s charity. Each year, they partner with Marcus Theaters for crafts and activities, then a movie showing. This year, they showed Elf — a family favorite, to be sure. Prior to the movie, Namine made a decorative photo frame and a gingerbread man ornament.
Variety has been a staple of our lives for many years. We love their different events, which range from the holiday parties and trick or treat events to summer picnics and sporting events. Their involvement doesn’t stop there; they help families obtain medical equipment insurance doesn’t pay for, like our stair lift. We’ve even been given the privilege of speaking at one of their fundraisers!
