Namine
Namine Olivia Eiche was born on July 15, 2008 with a double-inlet left ventricle heart defect; Pierre Robin sequence, a condition that resulted in a regressed jaw and a partial (U-shaped) cleft palate; caudal regression syndrome (also known as sacral agenesis), which damages the growth of the tailbone and legs, also giving her clubfoot; and scoliosis.

Make A Wish: Disney World
As the saying goes, I’m going to need a vacation after this vacation. That’s not a bad thing, though! Namine’s first time at Disney World was tiring, but magical.

We spent the day with sea life: dolphins, sting rays, whales; we even dined with the sharks.

This morning Namine got autographs from several Disney characters.

We spent our first full day here by visiting the dolphins Winter and Hope.

Over the weekend we attended the annual Special Needs picnic, put on by Children’s Hospital.

Tonight was Namine’s “bon voyage” party before we leave for her Make A Wish next week.

I picked up Team Namine’s shirts for Al’s Run this afternoon.
