Namine
Namine Olivia Eiche was born on July 15, 2008 with a double-inlet left ventricle heart defect; Pierre Robin sequence, a condition that resulted in a regressed jaw and a partial (U-shaped) cleft palate; caudal regression syndrome (also known as sacral agenesis), which damages the growth of the tailbone and legs, also giving her clubfoot; and scoliosis.

We attended a wedding, then while Jessica and I worked at Irish Fest, Namine went swimming with her grandpa.

I am happy to announce that Namine’s new wheelchair has been ordered!

Jessica and I took Namine and her cousin to the State Fair this weekend.

At my family picnic, Namine got to play in a wheelchair-accessible sandbox.

Almost rained out
It was raining when Jessica and Namine arrived at the YMCA this evening, but fortunately the weather cleared up enough before the game started.

M&M’s
On Sunday we came up to Aunt CR’s house to celebrate the fourth of July and just have some fun. Namine and I stayed while Paul had to leave Tuesday night to get back to work on Wednesday.
