Namine’s Frozen medley
I learned two things today. First, if I have enough aluminum cans to fill my car, it can get us enough money to go see a movie. Second, I haven’t had a song stuck in my head like this since I saw Aladdin when I was twelve.

Beautiful disaster
We prefer messes to perfection. The life of a parent is messy. There’s poop and vomit and grass stains and permanent markers and “How did you get that up your nose?” And you know what? We like it that way.

Last night I let Namine play on the laptop. She asked me if she could play Elmo games on the computer, so I went to sesamestreet.org. Rookie mistake.

Father-daughter time
It’s not often that I get to accompany Namine to therapy, let alone take her all by myself.

Playing doctor
One of Namine’s Christmas presents was a fold-out tent and tunnel. I don’t have a picture outside of the tunnel (Namine wouldn’t come out), but here’s a similar one from Amazon. She was so excited while I was setting it up that she literally (and yes, I do know what it means when I say…
