Last night I let Namine play on the laptop. She asked me if she could play Elmo games on the computer, so I went to sesamestreet.org. Rookie mistake.

It turns out that nearly everything in the “Games” section is not really a game, but an interactive (and I use the term loosely) book. You can click to turn the page, but that’s pretty much it. We did find an Abby Cadabby rhyming and matching game that really was a game, so Namine had fun with that until it was time for her bath.

Jessica told me later that she never goes to sesamestreet.org. Instead, she goes to pbskids.org; they have games that are actually games. Mental note, check.
