Christmas music
Namine is working hard at piano.

Two days of Christmas
Driving back and forth between families is not usually looked upon as the best part of the holidays, but we had a lot of fun these past two days.
-

Christmas dress
We didn’t have the chance to go shopping for Namine’s Christmas dress until this past weekend. By this point, most stores have already moved onto Spring clothing, so Christmas clothing was in short supply.
-

Upcoming piano recital
As we get closer to Christmas, we get closer to Namine’s piano recital.
-

Weekend at Grandma & Grandpa’s!
The Friday after Thanksgiving Namine got to have dinner with us and spend the night. That was the start of a whole weekend here at grandma & grandpa’s! The added bonus was Auntie Lydia was home from grad school those days so Namine got lots of play time & Aunt Lydia cuddles.

Make your own Advent wreath
Jessica and I (mostly Jessica) made our own Advent wreath. You can make one too, and for a whole lot less than you’ll find for those pre-made ones at the store.
-

Getting ready for Christmas
It was a good day to put up our Christmas decorations.
-

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
On December 29th, we went to go see The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at First Stage Children’s Theatre.
-

Broken already
So Namine broke one of her toys already. File this one under “she doesn’t know her own strength,” but it still wouldn’t have happened if she had listened in the first place.

Christmas Eve and Morning
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was fantastic, even though we drove around quite a bit. It comes with the territory, when you have family that lives a good distance apart, but well worth the travel.
