We took Namine to the store and got her a new Christmas outfit. You could say she was excited. We took a bunch of pictures of the little diva in front of the lit Christmas tree. Here they are.

Out and about
On Saturday we took Namine to a movie. It was a showing of Free Birds, put on by the Variety children’s charity group for disabled kids.

Christmas decorations
When I got home, I was greeted by a disaster. At least, a disaster at first glance. On looking closer, though, I saw that the living room carpet was itself carpeted in homemade Christmas decorations. Oh yes, Jessica and Namine had been busy.

Today was a craft day. We made our own Christmas stockings!

A selfless love
Namine’s Christmas was something close to magical. We don’t have a lot of money, so her gifts would have been in shorter supply, were it not for the generosity of our friends and family. For that, we are truly grateful.

That Christmas spirit
It’s an accidental bokeh image! I think it looks nice. Credit to my lovely wife. Namine is very much looking forward to Christmas, and we had a lot of fun setting up the tree. We’re trying to temper the excitement about presents and Santa with the real meaning, that of Jesus’ birth.

Health update
In case you were wondering, Namine hates shots. The other day, she got her Synagis shot (for RSV) – and at least one other, I’m pretty sure – but there was too much to give in one go. So even though the dosage was for a single shot, they gave her one in each leg.…
