Namine
Namine Olivia Eiche was born on July 15, 2008 with a double-inlet left ventricle heart defect; Pierre Robin sequence, a condition that resulted in a regressed jaw and a partial (U-shaped) cleft palate; caudal regression syndrome (also known as sacral agenesis), which damages the growth of the tailbone and legs, also giving her clubfoot; and scoliosis.

State Fair
On the very last day of it being open, we made it to the Wisconsin State Fair!

School orientation
Namine had her sixth grade school orientation. There are some pretty exciting things coming this year!

Namine had a lot of fun at the annual Eiche family picnic!

Cardiac MRI
A routine heart scan ended up being a pretty major milestone for Namine.

Namine’s mouth is a little sore, but otherwise her dentist appointment went fine.

We were afraid Namine’s arm was broken. Fortunately, that is not the case.

Last tennis practice
Namine has had a lot of fun and made a lot of friends over these past several weeks.

Team Up For Fun Camp
For four days, Namine attended an accessible camp designed for children with disabilities. ♿

Moving in tennis
Namine has shown some serious progress over these last few weeks of tennis.

Chasing fireflies
When we were children, Jessica and I loved to chase and catch fireflies. Now Namine has gotten to do it too.

Pirate birthday party
Namine thought she was having a small birthday at her aunt’s house. We surprised her with a pirate-themed party!

Creepy Crawly Zoo
Creepy Crawlies are disgusting to me. I don’t like them in my house. I don’t like them crawling on me. I don’t like touching them. I don’t like them. 😝🐛
