Every few months, Namine is due at the dentist to have her braces tightened. There’s actually more to it than that, but the upshot is that her mouth is going to be sore from the adjustments for a few days.
It’s not all bad, though — and Namine doesn’t seem to dread going to the dentist the way I remember feeling — because she got to pick out a new color for her braces. They were blue, but now they’re red. Well, the color said red, but in appearance we think it’s actually closer to pink. Namine says they match her gums now.
