Every night in the hotels on the way down to Florida, Namine has asked to go swimming. Unfortunately, the adults were always too tired to oblige her. But now that we’ve arrived at our destination, Namine, my sister, and I went down to the pool pretty much as soon as we unpacked.
My mom had brought water wings for Namine to use, so my sister and I helped her into them. Once we got into the water, it took Namine a little while to get her confidence up enough to let go of me. Once she did, though, she loved paddling and kicking on her own.
