Jessica and Namine were on their way to the eye clinic this morning when Namine threw up.

Stronger than ever
Namine had an orthopedic appointment today. She was nervous, as she is wont to be when it comes to doctors, but afterward she said it was silly to be so.

Two fun days
When I say “fun,” I actually mean “not fun.” We’ve spent the last couple days in and out of the pediatrician’s and the ER, trying to figure out why Namine is experiencing abdominal pain. Again.

Today was a waste of time
Namine continues her current prescription to treat this mysterious abdominal pain. This can’t go on indefinitely, however; so Jessica took her in to see the urologist for more tests and, possibly, an answer as to why this has happened at all. It did not go well, and we know just as much now as we…

To the doctor, again
We took Namine to the pediatrician. Yes, again.

Pain
Namine did not have a good day at therapy yesterday. Some days are better than others – that’s true of anyone – but lately she’s been complaining of more pain than usual. Considering that she’d rather suffer in silence than admit pain, that’s saying something.

Cardiology appointment
Yesterday afternoon Namine had a follow-up appointment with her cardiologist. Despite the long road of recovery, her chest incision is finally healing.

What matters most
Yesterday we found out that Namine’s most recent x-ray shows evidence of a congenital defect in her right shoulder.

At the cardiology clinic
As you can see, Namine was super cheerful today. She knew what was in store – an x-ray, a blood draw, and then on to see the cardiologist – but nothing could sour her mood. No, not even the blood draw.
