    I always confuse the location of the picnics for the Children’s Hospital’s Special Needs Program and the Herma Heart Center. We missed the Herma Heart picnic, but fortunately we made time for this one. Namine was glad to see so many friends.

    Today was the Children’s Hospital special needs picnic. We had quite a fun time last year, and we were looking forward to going again. This was the perfect opportunity to show off Namine’s wheelchair – but more importantly, her skill in navigating it.

    We went to the zoo this morning for the CHW Herma Heart Center’s picnic. Namine got a free HHC t-shirt. (siblings could get free shirts as well, but parent have to pay. What a gyp.) We saw a couple of doctors (including Dr. Mitchell!) and some other people we recognized but couldn’t place.
