The colder months in Wisconsin are hard on Namine. They are prone to sickness, and if that wasn’t bad enough, the snow and ice make going anywhere difficult, if not downright impossible. But there is always one ray of sunshine amidst the new year’s dreariness: the winter tennis session, four weekends of playing tennis with their coaches and friends.
Recent months have been especially hard on Namine, with their recent surgery recovery and even more recent leg pain. There’s unfortunately a lot of that going around, apparently, because some of their friends have also had hospital stays, surgeries, and other difficulties. As a result, there weren’t very many people at this first tennis session. We’re hoping to see more of our friends next week.
