Since we’ve had Namine’s cousin stay with us since Namine’s birthday party, she came with us to tennis practice, which just started its five-week season. She was happy to participate, and we even had Namine’s old, smaller racket that she could use.
Practice started as it usually does, with Coach Jackie and Brian, her son, doing one on one drills with each player. They were more than happy to include our guest.
The latter half of practice typically lets each player sort of do their own thing. Namine likes to practice her serves, so that’s what she and her cousin did.
I had gone on the other side of the net, helping to pick up the balls and bring them back to the girls. I saw a good opportunity to get a video of Namine serving, while she saw a good opportunity to serve the ball aimed directly at me. Have I mentioned that she has good aim?
