Namine participates in sports with the organization WASA (Wisconsin Adaptive Sports Association). She started with basketball, tried ice hockey, and fell in love with tennis. When she heard about the opportunity to try a new sport — pickleball — she excitedly said yes.
Pickleball is essentially tennis meets table tennis, since it’s played on a court but with a paddle. Namine’s skills at tennis served her well in trying out the new sport. She took to it quickly and enthusiastically. The clinic was an hour and a half long, but even that proved to not be long enough.
