Little League parade

Namine participated in the annual Little League parade before the Brewers game. ♿

We always enjoy going to Brewers games. We don’t follow the team throughout the season, but getting out to Miller Stadium is always fun. This time was special, because the YMCA Miracle League was joining the rest of the Little League teams in the parade around the field before the game started.

We met up with everyone outside the stadium. Namine went over to her coaches and Buddies to say hi. (We were thankful for the nice weather, unlike the driving rain we had last year.)

We followed the huge crowd of children, parents, and chaperones inside, where we waited to start the parade. There were news cameras, the Brewers mascot Bernie, and lots and lots of people.

Pushing a wheelchair on dirt is hard work. It’s much harder than on an unyielding surface like concrete or pavement, and the stadium is quite large. Regardless, Namine had a lot of fun. She was all smiles and waves, plus the occasional high five. ?
