Namine’s school puts on what they call Gallery Night, where students can present whatever they want. Some students showcase their art, photographs, or even pets.
Namine has been learning about the Civil War in school, and the story of Harriet Tubman has really touched her. She decided that she wanted to learn even more about her than what was in the couple books she’d read, so she has spent the past month or so writing a report. She presented this report, complete with a diagram about Harriet, at Gallery Night.
After the presentations were finished, each student stayed by his or her presentation to answer any questions.
