Namine and I are reading a book in school called “Homesick: My Own Story.” It’s about a girl named Jean who lives with her parents in China. Jean had a baby brother, who was born six weeks early and passed away a few days after he was born.
I still can’t believe Namine is in fifth grade!
I walked Namine to school for her first day of fifth grade.
Namine had to make a color wheel for science. Things did not go as planned.
Namine built a terrarium, and it is thriving nicely.
Namine gave a presentation on Harriet Tubman for school.
Namine is done with this year’s state testing.

We made an autumn wreath.
Namine volunteered at Zachariah’s Acres as part of her community service time.
