The past couple years, Namine has not been able to participate in the adaptive basketball tournament, The Big Cheese. First she wasn’t able to play due to a paperwork mixup, then she inexplicably got sick, and then she had her broken wrist to deal with.
Hoopalooza is an event where a mix of athletes and teachers play each other in wheelchair basketball. Each quarter is just five minutes long, with another game of just teachers vs. teachers at halftime. Regardless of the event, Namine was happy to play.
