After basketball practice this week, Namine told us about a strength exercise she was doing with her coach. He held on to her wheelchair while she wheeled the two of them backwards across the gym.
“I can’t look over my right shoulder very well,” she told us. “So I looked over my left shoulder, and my coach looked over my right shoulder. That way we were both sure I wouldn’t hit anyone while I wheeled backwards.”
