Friends new and old
Jessica, Namine, and I made the drive up to Medford for Namine’s school orientation (which she’s been calling her “ornamentation”) today. We had a great time.
-

Making pretzels
Namine got to pick little strawberries and help make pretzels and pretzel dogs.
-

A busy day
Namine is such a tomboy, but sometimes she surprises us.
-

No boys allowed
Namine’s writing gets better every time I see it.
-

Ready for school
Apparently, first grade can’t come soon enough.
-

She’s a boots girl
Namine has always loved boots. She comes by that honestly enough — both my sister and I are suckers for a good pair of boots.
-

Getting ready for first grade
Not long ago, the tub containing Namine’s first grade curriculum and supplies arrived. Today we unboxed it all and reorganized our school nook.
-

Cream puffs!
When we went to the fair, one of the last things we did was get some cream puffs.
-

AFO adjustments
I went with Jessica and Namine this afternoon to the orthopedic clinic. Namine had an appointment to have her right brace adjusted.
-

At the state fair
Jessica and Namine went with my mom and sister to the state fair yesterday. My dad and I joined them after work.
-

Unintentional injury
There are few things as disheartening as accidentally injuring your child.
-

Bowling birthday party
We had offered Namine her choice of venue for where to have her birthday party. She chose to have it at the bowling alley.
