This morning they took Namine off the liter of oxygen that she’s been on since coming to the ICU. Her O2 has stayed in the low nineties pretty consistently, so that’s one less thing she needs.

They thought that perhaps today might have been the day to remove the pleural drainage tubes, but alas, it was not to be. They are going to split the tubes, however. Right now, the two tubes drain into a single vacuum unit. In order to accurately measure how much output each tube has, they each need to drain into their own unit.
They are also willing to get rid of her catheter, which would make her more comfortable; but since they are still worried about UTIs, for now they are leaving it in.

She was also given the okay to move a little bit more and possibly be in her wheelchair. She slept fantastic last night. I think the food is helping!
