Namine’s sleeping heart rate keeps dropping into the fifties. This concerned the nurse, who brought in the floor doctor, who called cardiology, who ordered an EKG.
Namine is obviously tired; she slept through all the leads being placed on her skin, as well as the EKG itself. Now, an hour later, the doctor has come back to tell me that there is nothing concerning in the EKG results. That’s a relief.
Namine’s monitor (which displays her heart rate, oxygen, and blood pressure) still alarms when her heart rate dips below sixty. They’re leaving it as such, just to be on the safe side. But so far it’s come back up in short order, so no one seems to be too concerned.
