When Namine’s heart catheterization was scheduled for July 2, it was only because that was the only opening. Even so, we’ve had plenty of experience with Children’s Hospital rescheduling us with hardly a moment’s notice. We were rightl to be apprehensive.

When the hospital called Jessica on Tuesday to schedule the cath, she asked of the nurse – repeatedly – whether Tuesday, July 2, at 8:30 in the morning, was really, truly the date. The nurse was getting angry; “Yes. Of course. Yes, of course that’s the date and time.” Jessica, having gone through this song and dance many times (likely many more times than the nurse), took it in stride. So all was well… until today.

Today, we received a letter in the mail – yes, good ol’ snail mail, meaning it had to have been sent yesterday, if not the day before – informing us that the cath date has been moved. Moved, I tell you! Now we’re on for Friday, July 5, at the same time, 8:30 in the morning.
