Namine’s operating surgeon just stopped in to tell us that they’re completely done. The operation as a whole went better than expected; not only that, but they also only expect her to be hospitalized for seven to ten days, instead of the originally expected four weeks. Another bit of good news: there was not a lot of post-operative bleeding. As Namine wakes up, the doctors plan to take out the breathing tube. For now, we’re just waiting for them to come back and tell us that we can see our little girl again.
The Fontan is done!
Namine completed her third heart surgery, a fenestrated Fontan procedure.

Thank you for sharing today’s events about Namine. What wonderful news that the operation went better than expected. I will pray that her pain is minimal, and also pray for strength for you and Jessica as you support and care for your daughter during this time. May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
