Questions and answers
Namine asks her share of questions over and over again, and to my shame, I’ve answered with my share of “stop asking!” or “because I said so.” I try not to, though, because I feel that she deserves more than that.

Better and worse
When Jessica gets sick, we hope she doesn’t need to be put on antibiotics because she’s allergic to so many. Namine has quite a few medical allergies, but not as many as Jessica. Yet.

“Don’t kiss me”
So Namine has been dealing with a bit of a head cold since last night. After tucking her into bed, I leaned in to give her a kiss. No, don’t kiss me, Daddy, I don’t want to get you sick. Let’s hug and blow kisses instead.

Namine came up with this one all on her own. I have a brushtache!

Rock star
So Namine had her sunglasses on. I told her, “You shouldn’t wear them inside, it will hurt your eyes.” She said, But I want to be a rock star. Mom, when will I be a rock star?

ENT and therapy
We took Namine in to see her ENT doctor today. She’s been complaining of her ear bothering her, so we feared the worst: an ear infection. Fortunately, that turned out to not be the case.

Tonight’s gem from Namine
I was in the kitchen getting some water when Jessica called in to me, “Can you grab me a seltzer?” Namine hollered in after, Can I have a saltzer too? Hey, what’s a saltzer?

Namine’s quote of the day
Namine was banging two toy eggs together in lieu of musical instruments this morning. I asked her why, because she has a box full of musical instruments in her room. And the box is on the bottom shelf of her toybox rack, so I knew she could reach it. I’m using eggs because my tambourine…

Consideration
Last night, Jessica was so tired from the crazy day that she crashed in bed right after dinner. So by the time Namine was getting ready for bed, she was fast asleep.

A good day
Jessica went over to her sister’s today to lend a hand with Christmas presents. (I plan on waiting until the last minute, especially since Jessica already “accidentally” found one of the presents from me and Namine).
