Happy retirement, Dr. Gordon
Last night was the retirement party for Dr. Gordon, who has been Namine’s special needs doctor, well, pretty much since birth.

Namine’s baseball game was last night, instead of Thursday, because of the upcoming holiday.

After weeks and weeks of practice, it was finally time for Namine’s dance recital this weekend.

Bike Buddy
This morning we headed out to Independence First, a disability equipment provider. For the next three weeks, we have on loan a combination wheelchair and bicycle. They call it a Bike Buddy.

Piano and dance
Last night was Namine’s last dance class before her recital. But before that, she had a piano recital.

With just one more week of practice, Namine’s jazz class is working hard to learn their dance.

Sled hockey
Over the weekend Namine had the chance to play sled hockey again. She loved it so much the first time, we had to do it again.

Super long speech appointment
A long time ago (it sometimes seems to us), long appointments were the norm. I’m not just talking about a mere two or three hours; in the days of Namine’s infancy, it was typical to spend literally six to eight hours at the hospital.

Namine gave her very first speech yesterday, and she did a fantastic job.
