I’ve written before about how Namine is potty training. In our efforts to allow her to do as much as possible by herself, we set up a little sink, soap dispenser, and towel right outside the bathroom.
Of course, the sink isn’t just for after using the bathroom. She uses it to wash up before and after meals, too, and whenever else is necessary. It affords her an extra level of independence; this way, she needn’t rely on us to wash herself up. And she likes that.
