Mummy dogs

Tonight was supposed to be leftover night, but Namine had a different idea. She saw on Jessica’s phone a picture of mummy dogs – hot dogs wrapped up in crescent rolls like mummies. “We should have that!” she said.

Mummy dogs. Aren’t they cute?

We all sat on the floor of our (tiny) kitchen, rolling up our hot dogs. We talked and laughed; threw cheese and dough at each other; we had a perfect evening making dinner together. Namine is always happy when she’s able to help with dinner. She was quite proud of her little mummy dogs.
