Namine has been taken up to the recovery room. She’s resting fitfully now; she’s also in quite a bit of pain.
Fortunately, everything went well, even though she had to have seven teeth capped instead of the originally-supposed three. (That accounts for the pain.) Her throat and nose are sore from the intubation and extubation, so she’s not talking.
Half of Namine’s forehead was red when I went back to see her, so we’ve paged cardiology to come take a look at her. (Right before she needed the Glen, the second heart surgery, half her face turned red. We’re not taking any chances.)
As soon as Namine wakes up some more, we’ll see if she’ll go for some juice and maybe a popsicle.
