Namine joined a few new clubs at the start of this school year; among them was Chess Club. She didn’t know how to play, but there’s no time like the present. They had their first tournament of the year, which she was excited to join.
In Namine’s own words: “I got my butt kicked, but I had fun!” She made some mistakes in her first tournament, by her own admission, but learned from those mistakes. It’s how we grow. She’s looking forward to the next one!
