After we all had dinner, we had Jell-O cake. Before that, though, we had to sing to Namine.
I’d like to point out what a big deal it is that Namine can blow out those candles. She was born with Pierre Robin Sequence, and as a result had a cleft palate — basically a hole in her hard and soft palate. It is only through multiple surgeries (palate repair surgery, jaw distraction, a tracheostomy and trache removal) and speech therapy that she has the air flow control that she does.
But I digress. After we all had our fill of cake, we moved into the living room so Namine could open her presents.
