When Bill Schultz, the director of our Miracle League chapter, asked us if Namine would like to be interviewed by a news channel, she said yes with no hesitation. She is her own best advocate, after all. We arrived to the field early, so there would still be enough time for Namine to warm up before her game.
The reporter fitted Namine with a microphone and asked her some questions about herself, her love of baseball, and Miracle League. She also asked if either Jessica or myself would mind being interviewed. I said I didn’t mind. While I answered much of the same questions, Namine headed out onto the field with her Buddy.
