The T-rex gets a bad rap for its little arms, but did you know there are other dinosaurs with tinier ones?
We visited the dinosaur museum in Kenosha over the weekend, which gave me an opportunity to soapbox a bit to Jessica and Namine. The museum has skeletons on display of Tyrannosaurus Rex and Carnotaurus. Of course they have others, but it was these two which I wanted to point out.
The T-Rex has famously short arms in proportion to its body size, which end in hands with only two digits. It still has elbows, however, allowing for some (if limited) flexibility.

The Carnotaurus, on the other hand (ha ha), only has what paleontologists call vestigial arms. It only has forearms — no elbow joint — and some believe it may not have even had claws. While all dinosaurs belonging to the family Abelisauridae have tiny arms, Carnotaurus is unique in that its arms are even smaller in proportion to its body.
