Wheelchair-bound

I used to say Namine is “wheelchair-bound,” but now I am more careful with my words. Now I say she uses a wheelchair. It doesn’t bind her, it gives her more freedom.

A wheelchair is not a restriction — it’s a tool for movement and living. It is society’s lack of access that is the restriction.
