For the weekend, Jessica and I are volunteering at Irish Fest in the evenings. We’re working the festival entrance, taking tickets. So as we take tickets, we stamp ’em “void” and hand ’em back.
And nine times out of ten, people think I’m going to stamp their hand. So up comes the hand with the bent wrist, no no, I’m not going to stamp your hand. I can “void” you if you want, but it’s time for you to go. Go, enjoy the park. No, I’m not going to stamp your hand.
