The other night, I split a bowl of ice cream with Namine. I topped it with Cool Whip, which she’d been asking for. She’d been asking for “mip meam” (whipped cream) for several days, actually, and I by a stroke of luck I remembered this when I ran to the store the other day to pick up some more ice. Anyway, here is a short video of her ejoying (read: hogging) the whipped cream. Of course, when the mip meam was all gone, it was left to me to eat the ice cream. She wanted nothing to do with it.
Namine seems to have gotten her appetite back, obviously. She ate more noodles at lunch today than I would have thought possible for her little stomach to put away, and tonight she had animal crackers, tortilla chips, smoked salmon, popcorn, water, apple juice, and chocolate.
I forgot to check her temperature tonight. But she doesn’t feel as warm to the touch as she has, and she is certainly more active now than she has been for the past week or so. (Well, not now. Now she’s in her crib, sound asleep on my memory foam pillow.)
