Playing Kingdom Hearts
Namine knows she’s named after a video game character, but tonight she played the game for the first time.

Preconceptions and limitations
I’d like to think that I’ve matured enough to move past having preconceptions about what my daughter can do. I was wrong.
-
Ragequit
I witnessed Namine’s very first ragequit while playing on the Wii yesterday.
-
Cleaning and karting
I’ve written before on how Namine likes to play video games with me, but I think this is the first time that she’s written about it.
-
Fashionable headwear
Namine likes to be stylish, no matter what.

Roadblocks
Since we have Wii Fit board, Namine’s therapist recommended we try her out on some of its balance games. There were mixed results.

Music lovers

Playing Rock Band
The other day I got a text from my mom: “Saw this at a rummage, $25. Interested?”
-
Playing balance games
Namine asked me this afternoon if we could play Mario Kart. Before that, though, we tried something new. We fired up the Wii Fit to try her on some balance games.

My Far Cry 4 wish list
I didn’t know I was so excited about Far Cry 4 until Ubisoft announced it. I love 2, I even love 3 for all its hand-holding, and I hope Ubisoft combines the best of both games. Here’s what I’m hoping for.

Playing on the Wii
There’s no better way to relax on a stormy day than to play games. We fired up the Wii, and introduced Namine to Wii Sports and Mario Kart.

All work and no play
All three of us — Jessica, Namine, and myself — spent the better part of the day cleaning. Namine cleaned her room, inasmuch as a five year old has the motivation to clean anything, and Jessica and I cleaned ours.
