Namine had a dentist appointment today, and it was a doozy.
Last night was the retirement party for Dr. Gordon, who has been Namine’s special needs doctor, well, pretty much since birth.
A long time ago (it sometimes seems to us), long appointments were the norm. I’m not just talking about a mere two or three hours; in the days of Namine’s infancy, it was typical to spend literally six to eight hours at the hospital.
We were so looking forward to going to Florida this coming week, but that’s no longer a possibility. Namine has suffered some complications due to her broken leg, and her orthopedic doctor has instructed her not to travel.
We met with Namine’s orthopedic surgeon to discuss possible surgery.
Last week Namine had a cardiology appointment. It was just a routine check up.
Last night I took Namine to Urgent Care. She’s a little sick (again slash still), but doing okay. Here are some anecdotes from the evening.
