As you might recall, we enrolled Namine in a second school at the beginning of this year. Since it was one day a week, it wasn’t a full course load — unlike her homeschooling, which is — but it did offer something that the RVA doesn’t, namely a consistent social atmosphere.
Now that the end of the school year is upon us, all the classes at Bright Rising ↗ presented some of what they’ve learned. For several weeks, Namine’s class has been researching and learning about Wisconsin. During their presentation, each student shared their favorite fact about our state.
Namine’s class had also just finished reading Charlotte’s Web. It wasn’t her first time reading it — we’d actually just done so, the three of us — but she enjoyed doing so again. Each student shared an except.
