With Namine no longer in physical therapy (long story), Jessica and I need to give her therapy at home. That essentially means standing and walking in her walker two to three times a week. To make standing a little more fun, we set up Namine’s microphone stand with the Rock Band microphone. Namine and Jessica took turns singing, and I played the guitar.
By the time we were done playing, Namine had been standing for about a half hour, which is roughly half of what a normal therapy session would be. (She didn’t stand for the entire time straight through, but even her most strict therapist wouldn’t demand that of her.) She worked hard, she sang hard, and we all had a great time.
