Namine has a recital coming up in the next few months. (I don’t yet know exactly when, but I will definitely post when I do!) In the recital, she’ll be dancing with her jazz and tap classes.
Namine’s plan was to stay in her walker in both dances, but now she’s reconsidering that decision. She still plans to dance in her walker for tap, but she’s going to dance in her wheelchair for jazz.
“There’s a lot of pivoting in our jazz dance, and I can’t turn very quickly when I’m in my walker,” she explained to me. “But I can move a lot faster in my wheelchair, and keep up with the dance.”
Makes sense to me.
