I was already exhausted before I even began, but I followed through anyway.

I stuck with my typical four sets of 100 push ups. By the time I finished the first 25, my arms were shaking. I thought that meant I might not make it, but that wasn’t the case. The five minutes of running in place turned out to be just the rest I needed in between each set.
