Despite a poor night’s sleep and having spent the day running on fumes, another 100 push ups are done.

It is of equal import — perhaps even more so — to have been well rested as it is to have gotten one’s exercise for the day. To that end, I have been remiss, having gotten only a couple hours of sleep.

Nevertheless, I wasn’t about to let a day pass without getting in my 100 push ups. I stuck to my usual pattern of four sets of 25, and I must admit, I certainly felt as though my lack of rest made my entire body more tired (although my arms felt it the most). I would not be surprised if this were true, and not just a product of my imagination.
