I switched things up a bit tonight. Instead of doing ten push ups with a minute of rest in between, I did 25 per set, with three minutes in between.
At least, that was the plan. The first two sets, I did manage to get in 25 push ups each. The third and fourth sets, though, ended up being only 15 each. By this point my arms were pretty much shaking constantly, so the last two sets were 10 each.
I think I could probably have started that first set with 30, but I didn’t want to push myself too much. I think 25 per set is as far as I want to go, at least for the first week. Once I’m past day seven, we’ll see how I feel.
